If your work involves supporting couples or families in grief, you are invited to an exceptional training “How to Support Couples and Family Relationships in Coping with Grief?”.
This training is intended for counselors and therapists who wish to support clients experiencing grief and loss, helping them strengthen their relationships and build resilience.
From this training, you will gain evidence-based approaches, practical tools, and therapeutic methods that help keep families and couples connected during challenging times.
During the training, you will learn how, as a therapist, to create a safe space for complex emotions, foster effective and honest communication, and support couples and families on their journey of growth amid challenging life events.
Training topics:
- What is a safe environment?
- Why we grieve so differently and the benefits and difficulties with those differences
- Relationship dynamics and patterns when faced with danger and loss
- Why do you need to understand the Brain!
- Creating a healing container
- Skills for learning to be a ‘better feeler’ than just trying to ‘feel better’
Who is the training intended for?
This course is intended for mental health professionals, counselors, and couple and family therapists who support individuals experiencing grief.

Schedule (for both days):
9:30–10:00 Welcome coffee
10:00–11:30 Session I
11:30–12:00 Coffee break
12:00–13:30 Session II
13:30–14:30 Lunch break
14:30–16:00 Session III
16:00–16:30 Coffee break
16:30–18:00 Session IV
Participation fee:
- until January 7, 2025: discounted price 390€ per participant
- from January 8, 2025: price 450€ per participant
The participation fee includes a non-refundable booking fee of 50€.
The participation fee includes coffee breaks, while lunch is at each participant’s own expense.
Cancellation Policy:
- If the cancellation is made more than 2 weeks before the start of the training, the full amount paid will be refunded (except for the booking fee of 50€).
- If the cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the start of the training, no refund will be provided. However, you can choose another training or product from the Leinakool online store of equivalent value.
